Japanese Restaurant “HINATA”
~Where you can enjoy the warm and tasty happiness of Atsukan~
During the hot summer times, I assume everyone has a craving to eat and drink something which will cool you down. Beer, lemon sour, or maybe a sharp taste of cold Japanese sake soothes the sweaty body, and the tasty plates made by Mr. Ohzeki, the master of “Hinata”, gets both the body and soul fully recovered. But after a while, you feel your body getting too cold, and your stomach pleads for something warm. A warm soup is nice, but what’s better is a warm Japanese sake, also known as “Atsukan”. One sip, and the warmth runs down your body, letting out a big sigh of relief.
“When you think of drinking sake as a journey, I think Atsukan is like a route you pass along the way. It’s not the start, and it’s not the ending, around the middle of the journey is the best position for Atsukan.”
Mr. Ohzeki says with a gentle smile.
The warmed sake made me feel relaxed, just like the feeling you have after having a cup of soup. It seems as though I have come a long way after changing from cold sake to Atsukan, and I found myself completely addicted to the world of Atsukan.
Japanese Restaurant “HINATA”
HINATA opened on year 2013. The place is always crowded with people who come from near and far. There are many fans who come to enjoy the tasty Japanese sake, and the wonderful foods made by Mr. Ohzeki. There are both course menu and a la carte menu, but I recommend the course menu.
